Elizabeth Fechtel was crowned 2012 Miss America’s Outstanding Teen on August 20, 2011 at the Linda Chapin Theatre, Orange County Convention Center Orlando, FL. Elizabeth Fechtel was Miss Florida’s Outstanding Teen.
The first runner-up was Miss Michigan’s Outstanding Teen Marissa Cowans. The second runner-up was Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen Mi’a Callens. The third runner-up was Miss Texas’s Outstanding Teen Reilly Johannsen. The fourth runner-up was Miss Minnesota’s Outstanding Teen Alexis Houle.
